Uses of 7 Dragons
-
Arthritis: 7 Dragons can be used topically on arthritic joints that are painful to move or sore from everyday use. For that painful wrist or fingers, or a difficult elbow or knee, this will help with a couple applications per day.
-
Joint sprains: When we sprain or strain a joint, the joint usually becomes swollen and red, tender or outright painful. The trauma to the joint causes a blockage of energy and blood through the joint and results in swelling and pain. The herbs used in 7 Dragons have been specially selected to move energy and blood through just such a sprain or strain and relieve swelling, bruising, and pain.
-
Itching: According to Chinese Medicine itching is caused by what is called "wind", and /or heat, in Chinese Medicine, which becomes trapped beneath the skin. This formula helps to disperse wind and heat and relieves itching to a good degree. Sometimes more than one application is necessary and helpful.
-
Traumatic injuries: 7 Dragons is termed a “Dit Da Jow” in Chinese Medicine. Dit Da Jow” is a class of medicine used topically for injuries due to trauma. These were known as “Hit Medicines” and were used specifically in the Martial Arts Traditions. However, with time and the spread of herbal medicine used to treat all kinds of pain, Dit Da Jow became more a part of General Chinese Medicine and is used to treat many types of bodily pain, not just from Martial Arts.
-
Swellings: The excess accumulation of blood and fluids beneath the skin is the cause of swellings, usually due to traumatic injury. This is often compared to bending a water hose in half causing pressure to back up in the hose and swelling it. 7 Dragon’s ability to move qi and blood is like unblocking the hose and allowing the smooth flow of qi and blood thus alleviating the swelling.
-
Jaw pain: TMJ or Temporal Mandibular Joint pain can be helped with 7 Dragons though it may not remove the underlying cause. Also pain of dental procedures can be greatly reduced following a visit to the dentist with 7 Dragons applied to the hand then applied to the applicable side of the jaw, being careful not to get it into the eyes.
